Boeing to open security analytics center in Singapore

mardi 23 septembre 2014

Boeing plans to open a cybersecurity analytics facility in Singapore, its first outside the United States, as part of efforts to make such capabilities and services accessible to customers in the Asia-Pacific region.

The new facility will hire and train cybersecurity professionals locally, carry out advanced analytics, and support the aviation company’s regional cybersecurity center of excellence, Boeing said in a statement Monday.

A spokesperson in Singapore told ZDNet the analytics center is scheduled to open next year and plans are underway to hire and train professionals in the region, but did not provide details on how many will be hired when asked. The new facility will be located at Boeing’s existing office in the country.
